
MN lawmaker shootings: Suspect’s vehicle located, emergency alert issued
As the search continues for the suspect accused of shooting two Minnesota state lawmakers, authorities have issued an emergency alert for an area in Sibley County after the suspect’s vehicle was discovered.
Vance Boelter, 57, is accused of fatally shooting Minnesota Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, as well as injuring Sen. John Hoffman and his wife.
The emergency alert stated that Boelter’s vehicle was found near the intersection of Minnesota Highway 25 and 301st Avenue in Faxon Township. Anyone is the area is urged to keep their doors locked and vehicles secured.
