An Iranian missile appears to have struck Tel Aviv as Tehran fired dozens of rockets at Israel in a retaliatory attack. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said Iran “crossed red lines” by firing missiles at civilian population centers and vowed it would pay a “very heavy price” for its actions.

The Israeli army has ordered all citizens to head to shelters after it said it had identified a barrage of projectiles being launched from Iran. Video showed Israel intercepting a number of missiles above Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
Images also showed a projectile striking a target in Tel Aviv, Israel’s largest city.
The IDF said it identified a second barrage en route.

US president Donald Trump has urged Iran to make a deal over its nuclear programme, saying in a post on his Truth Social platform that there was still time for the country to prevent further conflict with Israel:
“I gave Iran chance after chance to make a deal. I told them, in the strongest of words, to “just do it,” but no matter how hard they tried, no matter how close they got, they just couldn’t get it done.
