Economic integration cannot guarantee peace but gives it a better chance: PM Lawrence Wong

While countries are concerned about their own security, they should “have a care” about abandoning the concept of economic integration with other nations, Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said, in response to a question about mitigating risks like the Iran-Israel war.
He added while economic integration cannot guarantee peace, it gives a better chance for peace than a “me-first” approach.
