80 targets in Tehran, including SPND, attacked by Israeli Air Force: Israeli army spokesman
The Israeli army conducted extensive strikes against nuclear facilities and weapons manufacturing in Tehran, including an Iranian command centre, Israeli army’s spokesperson said on Sunday (June 15). Brigadier General Effie Defrin told a media briefing online that Israel struck more than 80 military and strategic targets in the Iranian capital, including the headquarters of Iran’s Organisation of Defensive Innovation and Research (SPND). In total, over 250 targets across Iran were attacked so far across Iran, Deffrin said in an afternoon briefing. Israel says it aims to stop Iran from developing atomic weapons, and eliminate its ballistic missile capability.
