নির্বাচন নিয়ে প্রধান উপদেষ্টা অধ্যাপক মুহাম্মদ ইঊনূসের ঘোষণায় জাতির প্রত্যাশা পূরণ হয়নি বলে মন্তব্য করেছেন বিএনপির স্থায়ী কমিটির সদস্য সালাহউদ্দিন আহমদ। আর এনসিপির যুগ্ম আহ্বায়ক সারওয়ার তুষার বলেছেন, নির্বাচন ডিসেম্বরে বা এপ্রিলে হোক তাতে আপত্তি নেই। তবে লেভেল প্লেয়িং ফিল্ড নিশ্চিত করতে হবে। তাৎক্ষণিক প্রতিক্রিয়ায় এসব কথা বলেন নেতারা।
